Meet Our Doctors
Our philosophy is to provide the highest level of dental care possible in a professional environment that is "comfortable and friendly". We will work with our patients to help them make informed decisions about their oral health and treatment options.
Dr. Daniel Bowen
Dr. Daniel Bowen was born and raised in Spring Lake and graduated from Spring Lake High School. He attended the University of Michigan, where he received his bachelor's degree and DDS. He served in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps from 1978 to 1980, when he established this practice. He is a member of the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Dan has always been an active community volunteer in organizations such as the Jaycees, the United Way, and St. Patrick's Church, as well as an AYSO soccer coach and YMCA youth basketball coach. He has been an annual supporter of the United Way campaign and has helped spearhead with Dr. Thornley and local dentists a free dental day for the disadvantaged in the tri-cities community.
Dr. Dennis Thornley
Dr. Dennis Thornley was born in Japan while his father was stationed there with the U.S. Army. His family returned to Spring Lake when he was young, and he graduated from Spring Lake High School. He did his undergraduate studies at Muskegon Community College and Grand Valley State University and received his DDS from the University of Detroit Dental School. He joined our practice in 1994.
Dennis and his wife, Pam, have four children. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also serves as a consultant to the Ottawa County Careerline Tech Center's dental assistant education program. He (along with Dr. Bowen) has helped spearhead a "free dental" day for the disadvantaged in the trip-cities community.
